Healthy Snack Ideas for Work

7 Jan

So you’re trying to eat right for the new year, but you’re finding yourself absolutely famished by 3pm each day at work. You take this as a sign that you’re a total hog and wonder why you’ve got the appetite of pregnant rhino. Well never fear, you’re not a hog, there’s just a long time between lunch and dinner.

If anyone tells you that snacking at work will make you gain weight, they’ve probably got a secret arsenal of ho-ho’s, Twinkies and Snicker’s bars stuffed their office lady snack drawer. In that case, yes, obviously eating garbage like that will make you blow up like the Goodyear blimp, but healthy snack foods will do just the opposite.

Regardless of what Big Patty, your neighbor in cubeland, says a healthy snack will boost your energy and help to increase your metabolism. Eating healthy snack foods during the day will also keep your hunger happily satisfied, so you don’t find yourself in an ugly situation with a bag of Doritos as soon as you bust through your front door at 6pm.  It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to explain that you’re not going to gain weight if you’re eating healthy.

Try These Healthy Snack Ideas For Work:
