Need to Learn How to Lose Weight on Your Hips? Try This Workout from Modern Mom.

If you live in the northern states like I do, you know it’s absolutely freezing outside right now. Getting motivated to go to the gym is even harder during this time of year, as no one in their right mind wants to battle 10 degree weather just to torture themselves on the treadmill for 40 minutes. But whatever, even 10 degree weather is no excuse for going on strike from exercise. Instead, it’s a good idea to come up with some easy workouts at home, so you can do them when you’re snowed in. Remember, if you let yourself pork up during the winter, it’ll be your own fault that you look like the Goodyear blimp in last year’s swimsuit come May.

I actually started coming up with easy workouts at home a few months ago, specifically those focusing on how to lose weight on your hips. I got tired of doing squats and lunges at the gym, as there’s no proper place to do them, since it’s more crowded than a cheap petting zoo. So I found this video on YouTube by Modern Mom that teachers you how to lose weight on your hips. The video is about four minutes long, and of course you have to do it twice, once for each leg, but a lot of work gets done in those four minutes! The ladies of Modern Mom provide a very targeted workout that you can surprisingly really feel after the first two minutes or so.

I love doing these easy workouts at home so much that I even started doing them in hotel rooms when I travel. I try to do this workout for my hips about four times per week, and I think it’s really working!
