Happy Monday morning! That’s right,today is the first day of a brand new week, which means it’s time to get motivated to workout If you slacked a little this weekend and fell out of sync with your normal workout routine, no worries, what happened last week is in the past. What’s that, you ate a Big Mac and chased it down with three margaritas this weekend? It’s best to erase that from your mind for a number of reasons. First, you don’t want to know how many calories you consumed, second if you forget it ever happened hopefully you’ll never do it again.

Personally, I love a good Monday workout. It’s a great way to get motivated to eat healthy and get back into your normal workout routine for the rest of the week. If you set the pace right at the beginning of the week, you’re more likely to stick to it for the duration.

For those of you who don’t have a workout routine yet, but have been wanting to get in shape, get up and exercise. NOW! Make today more than just a Monday, let it be the day you decided to get even hotter than you already are!

Reasons to Get Motivated for Your Monday Workout:

  • It’s inevitable, things come up during the week that may cause you to miss a workout. This isn’t a problem if you’ve didn’t skip your Monday workout to watch reruns of Mork and Mindy in your sweatpants.
  • Swimsuit season is knocking at your door, even for those of us who live in Western Pennsylvania.
  • You ate like a hog on Friday night… and then again on Saturday night.
  • Last year’s hot pants don’t fit.
  • Wedding season has arrived and you don’t want fellow guests to mistake you for the wedding party’s shuttle bus.
